Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-08
This Privacy Policy explains how Dominican Bridge collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use events.dominicanbridge.com (the "Site") or purchase a ticket.
1. Information we collect
When you purchase a ticket, we collect: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the event you purchased, the amount paid, the last 4 digits of your card, and the authorization code returned by AZUL. We never receive or store your full card number, expiration date, or CVV — those are handled directly by AZUL on its PCI-DSS certified payment page. We also collect basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited) to operate and secure the Site.
2. How we use information
We use your information to: process your ticket purchase, deliver your ticket and receipt by email, communicate with you about the event (changes, cancellations, reminders), respond to support requests, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Sharing with third parties
We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Site: AZUL (payment processing), our email delivery provider (transactional email), and our hosting provider. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.
4. Data retention
We retain order records for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal and accounting obligations (typically 5 years). Marketing email subscribers may unsubscribe at any time.
5. Security
We protect your data with HTTPS encryption in transit, restricted server access, and the technical and organizational measures described in our Security Policy. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately.
7. Cookies
The Site uses essential cookies required for the checkout flow to function. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this subdomain.
8. Children
The Site is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, contact us so we can delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request corrections, request deletion (subject to legal retention requirements), and opt out of marketing communications. To exercise any of these rights, email support@dominicanbridge.com.
