Dominican Bridge llega a Cabarete.
Hemos venido organizando encuentros en Santiago, Santo Domingo y Punta Cana, y la gente nos venía preguntando cuándo traeríamos uno a la costa norte. Aquí está.
Sobre Dominican Bridge
Somos una comunidad para quienes viven en República Dominicana, o están planeándolo en serio. Publicamos guías sobre lo que nadie te explica cuando te mudas aquí: bancos, residencia, escuelas, salud, traer un contenedor, sacar la licencia. Organizamos encuentros presenciales por toda la isla y tenemos un grupo privado de WhatsApp. Unirse es gratis.
Quién Asiste
El grupo es mixto a propósito. Hay quienes crecieron fuera y regresaron. Hay quienes se mudaron aquí por familia, trabajo o un ritmo más tranquilo. Hay trabajadores remotos, dueños de negocios, jubilados, y padres que están descubriendo cómo funcionan las escuelas y los pediatras. Algunos llevan veinte años aquí, otros llegaron el mes pasado. Algunos todavía lo están pensando y haciendo su tarea.
Lo que todos tienen en común es que eligieron la DR y quieren conocer a más gente que hizo lo mismo.
Cómo es la Noche
Una noche relajada en Ultra Infinity, que esa noche abre el espacio en exclusiva para nuestra comunidad. Aproximadamente 75 personas, tres horas, puertas a las 7pm y cerramos alrededor de las 10pm. Sin agenda, sin etiquetas de nombre, sin obligar a nadie a saludar. Llegas, pides algo en el bar y empiezas a conversar. Algunos se quedan una hora, otros se quedan hasta el final. Trae a un amigo o ven solo, las dos cosas funcionan.
Qué te Llevas
Un par de números de teléfono que vale la pena guardar. Una invitación a algún WhatsApp o dos. El nombre de un restaurante del que nadie te había hablado. El contacto de un contratista, un pediatra, un corredor de bienes raíces, un coworking. Lo que sea que llevas tiempo buscando. Y la clase de conversación que, meses después, es la razón por la que te acuerdas de esa noche.
Sobre la Entrada
La entrada de 2,000 DOP cubre el local, el personal y armar la noche como se debe. No es un sobreprecio ni es exclusividad. Es lo que cuesta producir el evento. También significa que todos en el salón decidieron estar ahí, lo cual hace mejor conversación que un mixer gratis. Las bebidas y la comida están disponibles en el bar y no están incluidas.
Bueno Saber
- Vestimenta casual, estilo playa.
- Puertas a las 7pm. Cerramos alrededor de las 10pm. Ven cuando puedas.
- Bebidas y comida en el bar, por tu cuenta.
- No hay parqueo en el local. El parqueo público queda a pocos minutos a pie.
- Una entrada por persona. El cupo es limitado.

Una mochila llena de esperanza
Niños de Cabarete, Montellano y Sosúa se preparan para regresar a clases en agosto. Esta recaudación les entrega mochilas y útiles escolares para que comiencen el año con confianza.
Recaudación organizada por Scott Hundey con socios locales. 100% va a los útiles escolares.
Una noche. Un lienzo. En vivo en Cabarete.
El artista canadiense y récord Guinness Eric Waugh está haciendo de Cabarete su casa, y este sábado trae su reconocida experiencia de pintura en vivo a Ultra Infinity para Dominican Bridge.
La obra capturará el espíritu de Cabarete: playas, vida nocturna, kite surf, deportes acuáticos, música, y la energía de gente que se encuentra desde todas partes del mundo.
